Brighton & Hove City Council's Recruitment team will be in Churchill Square on Thursday 5 July from 10 am till 7 pm with information and advice about city jobs and housing initiatives for people who live and work in the city.
The day is part of a joint initiative between MOAT, the government's appointed HomeBuy Agent, and Brighton & Hove City Council.
As one of the largest employers in Brighton & Hove, the City Council employs over 8,000 people in a wide variety of essential jobs related to the running of the city, which includes everything from teaching to care work, and from administration to street cleansing
Equality in the workplace and the community is one of the council's priorities, so full, part-time, job-share and flexible working are all on the agenda. There is always the chance to learn new skills and gain experience with the extensive training and development programmes, and the council is one of the few employers that still guarantee a final salary pension scheme.
As the single point of contact for all low cost home ownership schemes in the city MOAT promote the range of services available under the HomeBuy initiative and are expertly placed to offer advice on how to apply, what is available and how to budget.
