Small retailers beware the FSA may pay a visit
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is concerned that small retailers may believe they are somehow exempt from the financial regulations that govern larger businesses.
The FSA regulates the financial services industry and lays down rules that must be complied with. The reason for this is to protect the consumer from high-risk companies.
Small retailers are being warned that they are not off the UK financial regulatory radar. They need to comply with the regulations because they may be inspected at any time.
