Job opportunity to make Brighton & Hove a safer place

Business Crime Reduction Coordinator for the night time economy. Fixed Term for two years. 37 hours per week. £23k - £25k per annum.

Brighton & Hove’s reputation as a world class destination has been built around its fabulous beaches, gardens, leisure, entertainment and retail. An exciting resort to visit and a great place to live and work.

Brighton & Hove has ambitious goals to become even more attractive and successful. These aims include ground breaking projects to improve management of the night time economy through a new public / private sector partnership.

This post specifically will act as the lead to coordinate projects and initiatives to support Brighton & Hove’s night time economy. The post holder will be responsible for initiating and developing practical initiatives with various key stakeholders, working within the night time economy.

The Night Time Economy Co-ordinator will be at the heart of these exciting developments. The varied mix of day and night time work will suit a dynamic individual with the drive to make things happen.

You should have relevant management experience preferably connected with the night time economy, excellent interpersonal skills, and have a proven ability to plan, monitor and evaluate projects. You will be creative and have the determination and discipline to deliver projects on schedule. If you have the qualities to match this demanding but highly rewarding role, then we want to hear from you.
