King Alfred goes to Planning Committee
After four years of consultation and negotiation, the planning application by Karis/ING for the redevelopment of the King Alfred site in Hove will be determined on Friday 23rd March.
The Frank Gehry designed scheme, offering over £80m of community benefit from a site worth just £11m, includes over 750 homes, 37% of which will be affordable. It will also provide a state-of-the-art sports centre and a new public realm with art by Antony Gormley.
The Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership supported the application and the Executive Director will be speaking in favour of the scheme at the planning committee meeting.
