On Friday morning 150 of the city’s senior business leaders attended a breakfast event to hear how the four main political parties would develop the economy of Brighton & Hove.
At the event, sponsored by Legal & General, the Executive Director of the Economic Partnership – Tony Mernagh - gave an update on the progress of £2.2bn of proposed physical developments in the city.

Economic Partnership Chair Simon Fanshawe, then introduced each of the four spokespersons for the main political parties who gave a 15 minute presentation on their vision for the economy.

The presentations were wide ranging touching on sustainability, transport, housing, park & ride, the King Alfred and other developments.
