After years of trying to provide late night return transport for Festival goers coming from London, train operator Southern has agreed to provide a service for this May’s festival.
The service, starting the 30th April and ending 3rd June, will leave Brighton at 11.19 p.m. with just two stops on the journey which will allow it to connect with late night underground services once it reaches Victoria just after midnight.
It is enhanced even further by a special promotion giving two tickets to travel off-peak for the price of one.
This is an important step for the Brighton Festival which is keen to attract audiences from the capital and it forms part of a three year partnership package with Southern which includes promotion and sponsorship.
