Make sure your window gives out the right Christmas message

As Christmas approaches retailers will compete to draw shoppers into their stores. For people under pressure to buy the right gifts within a short time frame a good window display is like candy to a baby.

‘Get Dressed!’ is a workshop for retailers, run by a retailer, which will impart important, practical skills that can be adapted for any retail environment.

Alex Thompson, a local retailer and visual merchandising professional will provide a hands-on opportunity to learn some fresh new ideas. Alex will assist those who would like help and advice on the visual aspects of their business – regardless of merchandise type or size of business.

You will learn:

  • Why Visual Merchandising and Window Dressing are important to your business
  • How great window displays can improve your business and promote sales
  • Practical knowledge and skills about the principles of display that you can apply directly to your store.

Details & booking:

The cost of the workshop makes this accessible to all who would like to attend. Each place is only £35.00 (£50.00 for 2 places, £25 for each additional booking).

You will have an opportunity to work with other retailers and to share ideas in a friendly environment. Bring along a diagram of your shop layout, photos of your windows, and any ideas you would like to share.

To find out more and to book your places, contact Katharine Knight on 01273 223690

Date: 20th November, 2006, 8am to mid-day (breakfast provided)

Venue: Touchstone Learning & Skills, 1, Hova Villas, Hove, BN3 3DH (parking in nearby Norton Road Car Park).
