How can Local Retailers tap in to Online Business?

With Christmas around the corner, retailers are preparing themselves for a seasonal surge in an otherwise slow year on the High Street. But what can local retailers do to prepare for 2007 to help sustain or grow their business in the coming year?

Following the success of their 'Everything You Need to Know About E-commerce' event for the Brighton Lanes Business Network in the summer, Hove-based Dreamteam Design Ltd are delivering the same message to the Hove Business Association's members on Tuesday 21st November to help retailers in Hove and Portslade to understand the merits of selling online.

Malcolm Duffitt, Managing Director at Dreamteam Design, who will speak at the event says: "The feedback from the Brighton Lanes Business Network members was very positive, and we have since helped several businesses go online. Retail-owners understand that selling online needs to form some part of their ongoing business planning, but our essential message to members of the Hove Business Association is simply to outline all aspects of how to run an online business, from planning to marketing. It's important for us to describe this process to retailers, so they fell less daunted about selling online."

It is Dreamteam Design's aim to provide retailers with the knowledge and tools they will need to consider running an e-commerce store, as well as removing the fear of technology and dispelling the myth that it is a high cost of entry to get online.
