Small business owners suffer too much stress
In spite of going it alone to get away from stress 98% of small business owners say they feel stressed at work. Over 25% say they feel under pressure most of the time.
A new report from Bibby Financial Services points to a need for an improved life work balance in the SME sector. Stress brings with it anxiety and irritability which then impact on relationships with staff members and will ultimately reduce productivity and increase absenteeism.
The report suggests that business owners could be impairing the success of their business by continuing to work under stressful conditions and that it is important to address the key problems and redress the life work balance.
