A survey of all ground floor businesses in Brighton & Hove is set to ascertain concerns of the business community.
The City Centre Business Forum is in the process of surveying all ground floor businesses in Brighton & Hove to understand the concerns of the business community.
Using results from the survey, the Forum aims to build a picture of issues facing businesses around the city and will cost out proposals to tackle these through the mechanism of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs).
These proposals will be put to businesses throughout the city to assess their enthusiasm for a BID before determining an actual BID area and whether it will go ahead.
To date, surveys have been sent to Hove, the north/south streets in the North Laine and The Lanes and initial results have been collated but more responses are coming in all the time.
To find out more about Business Improvement Districts and how they work click on the BIDs button on the top right hand corner of the homepage on this site.
