Maddy Carr has joined the Brighton City Centre Business Forum to work on the third phase of Business in Regeneration (BiR). Maddy will be focusing on assisting business associations and enabling them to build on the strategic developments of phase two.
The BiR project was originally funded from the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) and the third phase has been funded from the Area Investment Framework (AIF). The second part of BiR included a visioning exercise that generated ideas and the next development will concentrate on following them through to fruition. Maddy’s skills are in all the secretarial functions such as organising, written communication, taking minutes, and making things happen!
Maddy will be making contact with the key associations involved in BiR. She will be familiarising herself with the state of play with each association and then offering her assistance as a resource to take projects forward.
The skills that Maddy has developed in customer service, PR and in target driven industries will be invaluable in working closely with the business associations to achieve their aims.
