A new storey for Next

A shop expansion for Next in Churchill Square was given the green light by the planning committee on Wednesday, 13 October. The plans are to put an additional floor on to the existing unit.

The planning approval is conditional on the developer Standard Life contributing £13,000 to help fund the Shopmobility scheme based in the Regency Road car park. The scheme hires out electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to help residents and visitors with mobility difficulties access the city more easily.
