The Brighton City Centre Business Forum is offering traders free advice, training and equipment to combat graffiti. Any shops or restaurants suffering from repeated graffiti attacks should come along to a meeting on 27 July to learn how to get rid of graffiti for good.
The Business Forum is holding a training session at 6.00pm on 27 July to show people how to remove graffiti and provide them with free graffiti buster boxes containing all the necessary chemicals and equipment to do the job.
According to Soozie Campbell, city centre manager at the Business Forum the simplest way to beat graffiti is to be persistent in cleaning it off as soon as it appears. “By denying the vandals the opportunity to show off their work you will remove their reason for doing it and they will move on,” says Soozie.
The Business Forum is trying to encourage as many people as possible to take responsibility for their own patch. If every trader in the city looks out for the patch around their own premises and home owners do the same then the problem will be much easier to contain.
The training session will be held at the Business Forum offices at 6.00pm on 27 July at 8-11 Pavilion Buildings, Brighton. If you would like to come along to the session (or if you would like a Graffiti Buster Box) please contact Soozie Campbell on 380040 or email Soozie@mmp.co.uk.
