Find out how to get funding

If you run a community group you could be eligible for funding to get new ideas off the ground and really make a difference. To help you find out how The Brighton & Hove Regeneration Partnership and Working Together will be presenting the fourth annual face2face funding fair at Hove Town Hall on 11 May, from 9.30am till 4.30pm. The event is free to all comers and you don’t need to book in advance.

A record number of the country's leading funders will be there and available to to talk to groups from across Sussex.

Visitors can expect:

· Free workshops,

· Seminars

· One to one sessions

· Expert advice on applying for grants

Regeneration councillor Don Turner said, "This event produces real results. It should be the first stop for anyone looking for funding. We want to encourage groups and individuals sitting on great ideas to get active and come along.

"Last year many people left buzzing with new ideas on how to access pots of money they were entitled to. Since then they gained funding and new and innovative projects got off the ground."

Brighton & Hove Regeneration Partnership chair, Peter Field, said, "It's no surprise this event keeps getting bigger. Funders find it an invaluable tool for talking to the people who need their services. Groups and individuals who want to tap into pockets of funding can do so with ease at an event designed especially for them.

"We urge people to come to this remarkable event and get the money they deserve." Exhibitors this year include:

· Awards for All

· Heritage Lottery Fund

· Sport England

· The Prince's Trust

· Community Fund

· New Opportunities Fund

Entrance to the fair is free and open to everyone. Workshops are on first-come, first-served basis.
