Future of Shoreham Maritime Debated

A high powered meeting involving the Head of the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA)and the Chief Executives and Leaders of two councils will be held in Worthing on Monday 8th December to discuss the future of the Shoreham Maritime site

The development of the site is an important priority for the Economic Partnership and the other interested parties but recent estimates of the cost of the necessary transport infrastructure (see earlier story in Knowledgebase) have resulted in a radical re-think. At 260 hectares Shoreham Maritime is the largest brownfield development site outside London.
