National Park Inquiry Starts
The public inquiry into the proposed South Downs National Park, which is expected to last 10 months, starts at 2.00 p.m. on Monday 10th November at the Assembly Rooms in Stoke Abbot Road in Worthing.
While welcoming the proposal for a National Park, the Economic Partnership will be making a request to give evidence on a variety of sites around the city that it feels do not merit inclusion in the new Park.
Brighton & Hove Council is also supportive of the Park but both East and West Sussex County Councils have earmarked a fund of £250,000 between them to oppose the Park in principle.
