Dear Editor Kitty Newman's letter criticising new EU directives on unsolicited email marketing direct to businesses raises an interesting point.
Sure it is cost effective for small businesses to market in this way but it isn't very cost effective to all those businesses that receive the unsolicited emails and spend half their day reading them.
I for one would welcome any directive that can reduce the amount of junk in my inbox!
