Working closely with a number of departments of the City Council including Destination Marketing and Environmental Services the City Centre Business Forum has published a booklet about graffiti.
In an effort to encourage business ownership of the problem, it contains hints and tips not only about removal, including a list of relevant suppliers and companies, but also advice about prevention and deterrence
This is particularly important at this stage in the anti-graffiti campaign because the local authority's "big clean up" has brought levels of graffiti down to unprecedented levels (see attached charts)
During June it will be distributed free to every business in Brighton city centre and Hove town centre and also to residents in areas where there is a particular problem.
This is a part of the ongoing, co-ordinated strategy to deal with graffiti involving the business community, local authority, Youth Offending Team and police
