Join the Chambers of Commerce and Cut the Cost of Red Tape
The burden of compliance is costing business dear. According to figures presented on the web site of the British Chamber of Commerce the cost in 2001 was £15 billion and it is rising.
The financial pressure on UK business in the last year has increased due to costs associated with compliance issues such as the Data Protection Act; Welfare Reform and Pensions Act; Age Discrimination Code of Practice; Fixed Term Work Directive; Sex Discrimination Directive; Immigration and Asylum Act and the Disability Discrimination Act
If you want to have your say on the matter of red tape then join your local Chambers - Brighton Chambers of Commerce - and get involved in the debate.
For more information on the Chambers of Commerce Campaign to Cut Red tape contact the BCC on 020 7565 2000 or visit the website at British Chamber of Commerce.
