Ride the Wave: The Trading Post - How to reframe the skills you offer

Date: 23 March 2011 - Time: 6-9pm

Website copy for a logo? Business coaching for keeping the books? A radio jingle for legal advice? What skills can you bring to The Trading Post and what skills could you take away? Bartering keeps the boat afloat – why not swap a skill and sell what it is you do at the same time?

You know what you do, how you do it and you know you do it well. But how do you convince others of this? That’s what gets results! Can you sum up your activities in a nutshell? Or is what you do so varied and wide-ranging that it doesn’t trip off the tongue? Are you aware of all the skills you have and how to use them?

The Trading Post gives you the chance to collaborate with others, swap skills and define your activities.

Learn more about

• The amazing range of skills and services at your fingertips

• Encapsulating the essence of your business offer

• Negotiating a mutually beneficial swap of skills

• Monetising all of what you are capable of
