Remade South East are running a food waste project which is funded by SEEDA (South East England Development Agency) and the EU (European Regional Development Fund). As part of this project we are holding free food waste recycling training for small to medium businesses in the East Sussex area.
The session would benefit companies who produce food waste (hotels, restaurants, cafes etc), as it will discuss the important issue of how we can reduce the amount of commercial food waste that we send to landfill.
The agenda includes, portion size control, solutions in implementing a food waste system into a business, potential cost savings as well as expert speakers.
Food and refreshments are also included free of charge.
