Business is about relationships - who you know, gaining trust and building a reputation. This Chamber of Commerce workshop will help you to develop valuable relationships in your business community.
Business is about relationships - who you know, gaining trust and building a reputation. The social web has exploded in recent years, making some people appear successful overnight. Each success has their own story to tell and have taken many trusted steps to get where they are today.
In this introductory workshop, led by Rosie Sherry of Shux, we assume you know a little already about the social web (think Twitter and Facebook) and have touched the surface on building your own community. You may feel a bit stuck because you don't have as many friends as Stephen Fry, so we’re here to help.
At a glance:
- How to develop real life social networking set ups.
- Why business relationship building has changed and where it is heading
- You and your personal brand - who do you want to be?
- How do people see you?
- Real practical steps you can take to build trusted relationships within your community
- The chance to ask lots of questions
Relax after the learning with a glass of wine and some face-to-face 'social' networking.
About Rosie Sherry: Rosie likes making and starting things with the help of the social web. Most of her time is spent building communities online and in the real world. She does this for herself and likes to share this experience with others.
