From the 2nd-4th 2009 December Brighton & Hove will host an international three day conference focusing on the role and impact of social enterprise in urban areas.
Delegates from Italy, Portugal, France, Greece, Sweden and other EU countries will take part in a range of activities focused on building relationships and sharing practical knowledge.
They will discuss and examine the ways in which social enterprise works in different areas of Europe and the positive economic and social impact it can deliver.
The conference is part of the Urban Network of Social Enterprises project, an EU initiative formed of partners across nine countries, of which Brighton & Hove City Council are one.
