Sussex Police are inviting local businesses and their staff to attend a free training session to help businesses identify and deal with suspicious behaviour. It is aimed at counter-terrorism but recognising the signs of suspicious behaviour could be helpful in a variety of situations especially for retail staff on the shop-floor looking out for shop lifters.

This event will be held in the Brighton Centre and participants will develop an awareness of counter terrorism issues and other security/criminal activities. Specialists from a number of organisations including the police and military will deliver dynamic presentations on the day that will empower business people to provide a safer environment for staff and customers.

There are two opportunities to attend on Tuesday 14th July and Thursday 16th July 2009 and each day starts at 9.30 a.m. and finishes at approximately 3.00 p.m. with lunch and refreshments provided.
