Participate in simple and effective CSR (corporate social responsibility) with the added bonus of facilitated networking and fantastic relationship building all in one afternoon.
Nourish Community Farm is a social enterprise growing a variety of fruit, vegetables, herbs and plants to sell locally. They provide supported work placements for adults with mental health problems and learning difficulties and have a number of volunteering opportunities for people to learn about organic food growing and wildlife gardening. They also supply produce to the 20/20 Café based at the East Brighton Mental Health Centre; this is another Nourish project offering training and work experience in catering.
These successful networking events help you to build new business relationships whilst also supporting your local community. At the end of the afternoon you can continue to network over a lovely glass of wine courtesy of Barefoot Wine.
Quote from a previous participant:
“This day was time well spent in so many ways. I came away feeling very proud of what we had achieved and with a new awareness of and admiration for the work undertaken at the centre. I can communicate that to colleagues and clients, in the hope that they will also get involved in the future. I also worked alongside some great business contacts, and the work we did side by side means my business relationship with them has been given a great head start – better than any introduction.” Gordon Borer, Shirlaws Business Coaching www.shirlawscoaching.com
