Green Wave Eco Festival is an opportunity for local ethical businesses to promote their green products and services directly to the public, in a fun and imaginative way.
Green Wave is being held in Preston Park Brighton (on the A23) on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th July from 11am to 5pm both days.
The event is likely to attract between 10-15,000 people over the two days, with an all day music stage, children's eco theatre and dancing by the Juicy Crew in addition to a number of themed zones, where businesses will be showcasing their products and services.
Magpie are recycling the event, the music will be solar powered, and all packaging used by businesses must be sustainable - plastic bags and bottles are banned!
Brighton and Hove City Council are sponsoring the event, and will display information on Brighton's Eco Open Houses, Home Energy Efficiency, and travelling by sustainable transport through their Journey On campaign.
If your products are sustainable, homemade or locally produced, organic, recycled, or promote biodiversity, and you would like to participate in Green Wave, call organisers Frank Jay on 01273 323200 or Maddy Carr on 01273 735442.
