This 2 hour workshop will provide training and advice on a range of employment issues faced by SMEs (organisations with 50-250 employees), including recruitment, retention problems, sickness absence and productivity, all of which impact on business competitiveness.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share innovations and good practice with SMEs with similar issues during a discussion session.
Each participant will receive a resource pack to take away, containing practical information on a range of topics including how best to develop their workforce, the role of pay in attracting and keeping staff, how to cost staff turnover and job-redesign.
This free workshop at Brighton Racecourse is hosted by The Work Foundation in association with the University of Brighton and Sussex Enterprise.
