ProfitNet Festival 2007
Date: 1 November 2007 - Time: 16.00 - 20.00
An opportunity to network with hundreds of ProfitNet businesses.
ProfitNet was developed by CENTRIM, the Centre for Research in Innovation Management, at the University of Brighton, ProfitNet membership provides local industry with a hands-on and practical approach to growing better businesses. Not simply a network where learning happens but…a network set up to share and increase knowledge to effect positive changes in your business.
The scheme involves practical learning that is tailored to meet the needs of member companies. Members join a sector-specific group and meet once a month for a 3-hour facilitated session. The groups are member-led, with topics for discussion, external speakers and training being wholly decided by the members. This technique has proved very effective with the ProfitNet members. Nearly all of them say that the programme was useful in encouraging strategic thinking and was instrumental in supporting them while introducing changes to their business. And it also helps to foster ideas for new products or services as well as improving management skills and staff motivation.
